If you suddenly found yourself with a magic genie who could grant you one wish, what would you wish for? What dreams do you have that you want to come true? Well, you don’t need a magical genie to make your dreams come true. What you do need is motivation. Quite often, motivation will make the difference between succeeding and failing when it comes to the things you want in your life, no matter how big or small. Here are a few strategies you can use to begin!
Not only do you need to think positive, but you also need to find friends who will think positive too. Surround yourself with people who are motivated and it will be contagious!
One of the hardest things in life is to make mistakes and then learn from them. You can be afraid to make mistakes in life; the only failure in making mistakes is not taking a lesson away from them. Anything that is valuable is firmly rooted in experience, whether it’s good or bad. Mistakes can serve to give you insight not only into yourself, but into others too!
Have a Back Up Plan
Sure, you may have a plan B, but you should really have a plan C and D too! If things don’t work out with your current goals, you need to be prepared to shift to another goal or plan to get where you want to be. That way, you’re always prepared.
Write It Down
It’s a good idea to carry around a pen and paper with you all the time, that way if you have a light bulb moment you can jot it down. Everyone has good ideas, but not everyone saves them! So, be one of the people that do!
You have to live in reality when it comes to your needs and your habits. Do you have the time to accomplish your goals? Make sure that whatever goals you set for yourself are planted firmly in reality.
Bribery is Ok
You have to give yourself little rewards along the way in order to stay motivated, so don’t just look at the overall goals but set little goals along the way. When you reach them, celebrate!
